Railway Travel Poster produced for British Railways (BR) to promote rail travel to the Yorkshire Dales. The poster shows a view of a hamlet nestled in a landscape of green pastures and rolling hills. Four lines of verse by the poet A.E. Housman (1859-1936) emphasise the pastoral character of the area. Artwork by Ronald Lampitt.

This is truly an outstanding quality poster. It is printed on Fuji crystal archive photographic paper and is by no means a flimsy poster.
