Poster produced in 1940 for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail travel to the Yorkshire Dales. The artist has captured the rolling landscape of ‘The Dales’ and has detailed a stone farmhouse situated alongside a stream. A small flock of sheep are grazing in the green pastures.
